RED BLUFF — The Tehama County Museum, through September, will host a special exhibition of the Chew family, one of Red Bluff’s original Chinese families.

Chew said the exhibition will transport attendees through time, showcasing a captivating collection of family portraits dating from 1865 until the demolition of Red Bluff’s Historic Chinatown in 1948. This visual journey will be complemented by a traditional Chinese medicine display, offering insights into ancient healing practices that have stood the test of time.

She added attendees’ presence and support would significantly enhance this event’s significance, contributing to the vibrancy of our community and celebrating the legacy of the Chew family.
