The Helen and Joe Chew Foundation carries a variety of rare and autographed books by local 19th Century Chinese American descendant William Wong Foey. William’s grandfather, Wong Foey arrive in 1862. The cover is also the original artwork of William Wong Foey. If you’re looking for a special collection piece of work with an authentic signature, you’ve come to the right place.

A Chinaman in Deadwood is set during the 1870s, as Chinese immigrant Wu Feng settles in Deadwood, in the Dakota territory. There he befriends Wild Bill Hickok, Buffalo Bill, and Calamity Jane. Amidst great prejudice and the violence of the Old West, Feng endures tragedy and finds adventure, friendship, and love on the Gold Mountain.
