The Helen and Joe Chew Foundation participated in the Veterans Day Parade and Lunch in Corning, California, on November 11, 2023. This event shirt celebrated the occasion of the descendants gathering for the first time to honor our Chinese American Veteran families, paying tribute to their immense sacrifices and unwavering dedication to our country.

This shirt holds special importance as it unveils our Chinese American WWII Veteran heroes of Tehama County mural with artwork by the amazing artist, Candy Yu Yen Kuo. Candy Yu Yen Kuo who was unanimously selected by the Mural Selection Committee. WII resulted in the repeal of the 1882 Chinese Exclusion Act which substantially impacted our community. It is a momentous opportunity to celebrate their contributions and recognize their role in the tapestry of our community.

These shirts are limited edition and serve as a memento of this memorable event.
